Since 2017, the Agriclimat project, run by the Conseil pour le développement de l’agriculture du Québec (CDAQ), has been supporting farmers in their climate change adaptation efforts. It is active in all regions of Quebec and uses a collaborative approach grounded in science and fieldwork.

    Engagement for action!

We are excited to move into the third phase of the project. During this phase, we aim to further equip the agriculture sector in the fight against climate change, expand the use of the on-farm diagnostic tool, and increase mobilization from players in the sector.

This phase involves three major activities:

    • Regional and provincial knowledge sharing
    • Mobilizing the regional working groups and the Agriclimat Network to address priority topics
    • Deploying Carbon Teams and Farms in Action to use an interdisciplinary approach to test the measures implemented by farm businesses
